I design from the physical world up.

I design across physical and digital interactions.

My work spans material exploration, prototyping, and fabrication, giving me a grounded understanding of constraints, affordance, and real-world use. This perspective is especially relevant in hardware-driven products, where interaction must respond to physical context, human behavior, and manufacturing realities.

Through projects with Herman Miller and Rockefeller National Park, I explored site-specific design using existing materials, applying systems thinking and sustainability principles across the product lifecycle.

Whisper Garden

Inspired by the quiet poetry of Asian gardens, this piece turns furniture into a living, interactive landscape. It moves beyond function as a lamp, offering a gentle, ambient presence that invites pause and reflection. Designed as an emotionally durable object, it becomes part of everyday rituals over time.
