Where I am now

I recently completed my graduate studies in Integrated Product Design at the University of Pennsylvania, where I also earned a certificate in Entrepreneurship. That experience broadened how I think about products — not only through craft and interaction, but also through strategy, operations, distribution, and how ideas move into the real world.

I’ve worked across AI, healthcare, travel, and emerging technologies.
As a designer, I’m drawn to research-driven thinking, AI-enabled workflows, and balancing big-picture strategy with thoughtful details and craft. I enjoy moving quickly, testing ideas early, and shaping ambiguity into clear, usable experiences.

In teams, I tend to be the reliable one — connecting ideas, building on others’ thoughts, helping things move toward shipping, and quietly contributing creative direction along the way.

About the Logo

My logo comes from the Chinese pronunciation of my name — “Yu,” meaning fish.To me, the fish represents curiosity and flow. It’s a reminder to stay adaptable, observe closely, and keep moving.

At Penn, I often heard “look at the fish.” It stayed with me as a way of thinking — to look beyond the surface and understand what’s really happening. That’s how I approach design.
